The Village Entrepreneur program is about helping people help themselves achieve a better life by starting up a small business.
Many people in developing countries, especially those that live in rural and remote areas, don’t have access to financial services – for savings or access to affordable credit. This makes it difficult or impossible for many people to create or expand small businesses, the backbone of strong and sustainable communities.
You can take action! With a small donation every month, as a Community Investor, you can help a Village Entrepreneur start up and grow their small business. Their funding goes toward providing training and ongoing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
The Village Entrepreneur program doesn’t just help individuals, it helps their families and the whole community by providing products and services to the community.
Meet and read the stories of some Village Entrepreneurs on Cufa’s dedicated Village Entrepreneur website.
