“Most wonderful thing I’ve ever done!”

Earlier this month our Cambodian Challengers completed what Vicki Hunter from Summerland Credit Union describes as “Best thing ever. Supersedes anything I’ve done.”

‘My Journey’ is Vicki’s personal take on the Challenge, how she achieved a ‘world-first’ at one of the seven wonders of the world, visiting CUFA’s projects, the Children’s Financial Literacy program and meeting Summerland Credit Union’s Village Entrepreneur – Ly Sok.

Cycling around the remains of the ancient Angkor temples, our Cambodian Challengers gained a hands-on feel for life in Cambodia. Led by CUFA’s very own Phearun and Vibol their cycling guide and mentor from Cambodia Cycle Co., our Challengers cycled over 300 km, at times in gruelling conditions, to explore how their incredible fundraising efforts are helping the communities CUFA works in.

Thank you and congratulations to our Challengers, we look forward to bring you more stories on their Cambodian adventures in future CUFA updates.
